Home cleaning

This service supports you with cleaning your home — as regular everyday relief or as one-off help, for example after a hospital stay or before a family visit.

Tip on the number of hours: This service is booked by the hour. For a first or one-off appointment, plan 1–2 hours more than with a cleaner who already knows your home — a new helper needs time to get oriented.

Typically included:

• Vacuuming and damp-mopping floors
• Dusting freely accessible surfaces (shelves, windowsills, furniture)
• Bathroom/WC: sink, toilet, shower or bathtub, mirrors
• Kitchen: worktops, sink, exterior of appliances
• Taking out the rubbish
• Making the bed or changing bed linen (by arrangement)

Typically not included:

• Deep cleaning, window cleaning, and tidying/decluttering — available on our platform as separate services: "Deep Cleaning", "Window Cleaning", and "Home Organisation"
• Laundry and ironing (only by individual arrangement with the provider)
• Outdoor areas, cellar, attic, and post-construction or renovation cleaning

How to prepare for the first appointment:

• Clarify access to the home (someone is present, or a key arrangement is agreed)
• Cleaning supplies and equipment (vacuum, mop) are usually provided by the household — if that's not possible, mention it in advance
• Point out delicate surfaces (e.g. parquet, natural stone)
• Mention any pets

To clarify directly with the provider:

• Who provides cleaning supplies and equipment?
• Handling of rescheduling and cancellations
• Key arrangement and the provider's liability insurance
• Billing via the relief amount (§ 45a SGB XI) — possible with providers recognised under state law
