House clearance

This service takes care of the complete clearance of a household — for example when moving to a smaller home or a care facility, or when a household needs to be dissolved. The providers work discreetly, reliably, and with consideration for the particular situation.

How we count rooms: This service is requested and compared per room. Every room to be cleared counts as one room — including the kitchen, cellar, attic, and garage. Bathroom and hallway together count as one room. The per-room price is for comparing providers; you receive the binding fixed price after a viewing — it depends above all on how full the rooms are.

Typically included:

• Complete clearance of all agreed rooms
• Sorting and separating (reuse, donate, dispose)
• Disassembly of furniture, by arrangement also the fitted kitchen
• Removal and proper disposal with material separation
• Value offsetting for well-preserved items (by arrangement)
• Broom-clean handover of the rooms

Typically not included:

• Disposal of hazardous materials and special waste (e.g. paints, chemicals)
• Renovation or cosmetic repairs for the apartment handover
• Thorough final cleaning beyond broom-clean — available on our platform as a separate service: "Home Cleaning"
• Clearing only individual rooms or partial areas — available on our platform as a separate service: "Decluttering"
• Legal matters concerning estates and inheritance

How to prepare the job well:

• Secure personal documents, photos, keepsakes, and valuables beforehand
• Decide and label what should go to family or friends
• Clarify access: keys, parking, floor level, and lift
• If there is a handover deadline for the apartment: state it right away in your request

To clarify directly with the provider:

• Viewing and a written fixed-price offer (customary — without later surcharges)
• Value offsetting: which items, how valued — best documented in writing
• Are disposal and container fees included in the fixed price?
• Do you need to be present, or does the provider offer a key service?
